Went for lunch with a friend, and we shared the spring roll appetizer, chicken pad thai and the peanut chicken - absolutely delicious!!! Service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. I'll be back!
Best pho in Barrie in my opinion. Prices are good and portions are really good. Staff is very welcoming and remember me any time I come in. Recently got served tea while I waited for my order. A hidden gem and very clean establishment. Love this spot!
Love this place! So far so good and discovered this place this month and had been there twice in 2 weeks! The food & service is fabulous. Priced correctly! Tried a few items from their menu. Thai Spicy Basil Chicken, Thai Dumplings (chkn) and beef skewers are my favorites. Would never go back to other Thai restaurants in barrie unless they try & beat their quality along with their pricing. Thanks to the owners & staff for doing a great job! Hope it stays the same!
I just recently found this place. Wow, if you like spicy basil chicken, this will be your go to. This dish has phenomenal flavour, with the perfect amount of heat. The servings are out of this world, they’re huge! Great value and great taste. My new go to for Thai food! Went again and had the satay combo and the beef pho. Another fantastic meal.
My family and I went for the first time for lunch after church today. We were greeted by very friendly staff. The place was meticulously clean and warmly inviting. The food was fabulous!!! We ordered 6 plates and all were huge portions and mouthwatering. Beyond that the service and staff bent over backwards to give us more than we ever asked. All of us said we’d come back for SURE. such a gem of a find and close to home for me. Thank you Basil House for a great lunch experience.
This place absolutely rocked my world. Very authentic and kind service. Sauces and meats are very tender and nice, rice fresh. 5 stars, love it!
I visited this place based on a friend’s recommendation, and I was very satisfied. It seems like they also serve Vietnamese food, but that day we only tried a variety of Thai dishes. The food was clean and well-prepared, and the meat skewers served alongside were perfectly grilled. I was impressed by the warm tea offered after we sat down—it was such a thoughtful touch, especially on a cold day. I’ve already visited three or four times, and I’ll keep coming back!
First time ordering food here yesterday. We ordered take out. We had the red curry, Thai dumplings, and spring rolls. All were amazing. Especially the red curry. Sooo good. New favorite Thai food place.
